| Why Re-Slat Your Exisating Vertical Blind?
Changing the slats on your existing vertical blind is an easy, cost effective way of changing or refreshing the décor in your room.
If the fabric slats on your existing vertical blind are looking a bit worn and tired, or if you're planning to change the colour scheme in your room why go to the trouble and expense of changing the complete blind? If the mechanism the slats attach to (the head rail) is working fine you can just fit new fabric slats.
Fitting a completely new vertical blind can be complicated and hard work. Usually it requires drilling and plugging holes, the fitment of new brackets and then installing the new headrail before hanging the new slats. It can also be awkward to measure for new blind as you need to be quite accurate especially for bay windows. Re-slating your existing vertical blind only requires one simple mesurement per window and does not need any tools to fit!
